How to do a Revision Plan

1.    Prioritise your subjects give the subjects that need the most work a high mark out of 10, the subjects that dont a lower mark.

2.    Work out (realistically) how much time youre going to spend revising. Cross out days when you know you wont revise. (Friday nights Family holidays for example).

3.    Ask your subject teachers for a revision checklist. They should tell you what topics are in which exam, and how theyre going to be tested (eg essay? Comprehension?)

4.    Plan to do 30 minutes of revision (just going over your notes) the night before each exam. E.g. Got science on Tuesday, then read through science revision notes for 30 minutes the night before.

5.    Write in 1 hour slots for subject revision in the table behind this. (Just as a guide, when I did this for my GCSE I aimed to do 30 hours for each subject that needed the most work, and 7-10 hours for the subjects I felt pretty confident about already. Im not saying you should all do more, or less but just trying to give an idea).

6.    You have now got a revision schedule well done!!

And finally – don’t panic.
